Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Manager, Production Planning for the Canoga Park, CA location. This role will oversee Material Planning, Logistics, Production Control activities for the site
Essential Functions:
- Safeguard MRP system integrity by ensuring material transactions are completed accurately and on time.
- Support Production Operations through strong process management to maintain material readiness and clear-to-build status.
- Deliver detailed, accurate analyses to identify production constraints and create/execute mitigation plans as needed.
- Participate in site leadership meetings, projects, and strategic initiatives.
- Actively engage in the SIOP process at the appropriate levels to support site and cross-site needs and achieve program deliverables.
- Maintain a compliant inventory management system with 97% accuracy, ensuring all material transactions are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Lead employee and leadership performance through well-defined KPIs, leading indicators, and comprehensive analysis of MRP health metrics.
- Foster a culture of employee engagement and support individual development plans that strengthen organizational success.
- Lead the Missile Solutions Scheduling and Material Planning organization with an audit-ready mindset, executing in alignment with the vision established by the segment leadership team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 12 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or relative field preferred
- Masters Degree in Business or relative field preferred
- Proven expertise and hands-on experience in Scheduling
- Proven expertise and hands-on experience in Material Planning
- Demonstrated experience in Logistics Management
- APICS, SIOP, and other industry-recognized training or certifications
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in the state of California is $117,000 - $218,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
