We are seeking to fill an Intern - Project & Component Engineering role for Summer 2025 in its Los Angeles, CA location

At this facility, we design & manufacture rocket engines and unique power systems that support space exploration & the defense of our nation such as NASA’s SLS, Lockheed Martin’s THAAD, Sierra Nevada’s Dream Chaser, and the Mars Perseverance Rover.
After orientation and training, interns will perform entry-level engineering tasks on rocket propulsion projects.
Interns will support senior engineering staff and gain experience and familiarization with company projects.
Interns must be able to operate effectively in a team environment.
Summer internships will start in approximately May/June and end in August/September.
Projects may focus on aspects of project and component engineering including assisting in the design and development of rocket propulsion hardware and providing technical support to engineers within such areas as combustion devices, turbopumps, small thrusters, valves & actuators, and systems hardware.
Minimum Qualifcations:
- Candidate must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering (or similar major) and returning to school upon completion of the assignment.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $25/hr- $47.50/hr. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
