Job Description:

 

This position is responsible for directing the daily activities of the manufacturing engineering team and executing operations & program goals. The position will report to the Sr. Manager of the Pressure Feed Team and has a dotted line to the THAAD Program office. The Manager/ Integrator will oversee a team of Manufacturing Engineers, coordinating across multiple functions to ensure program success. Additionally, this management role includes financial responsibilities for operations & programs.

 

Essential Functions:

 

  • Managing Employees: Direct daily work assignments to meet quality, cost, and schedule commitments. Maintain employee training and critical skills. Support employee growth through training in manufacturing and engineering requirements and processes. Integrate strategies to create productive cohesive team.
  • Program Support: Attend daily program meetings determine shop floor priorities to ensure AOP goals are achieved on time & within budget. Create environment for communication with Quality, Supply chain, Operation, Engineering & Program leadership to drive production.
  • Program Financial Performance and Headcount Requirements: Coordinate operation to ensure the staffing plans meets program requirements. Collaborate with both Program office and operations to align schedule commitments with financial goals.
  • Support Lean Manufacturing & Process Improvement Initiatives: Drive process improvement projects to achieve greater efficiency, effectiveness, and reliability with a focus on reduced costs and improved quality.
  • Support Site Audits: Support internal and external audits of the manufacturing area. Drive root cause analysis investigations and implement corrective action on any findings.
  • Support & Drive Safety: Identify, report, and eliminate unsafe acts and unsafe conditions. Work with your teams to implement safety improvements and drive a culture that promotes a safe environment.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant Operations experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related Operations experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.

 

 

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $105,500 - $196,500. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, and Vermont is $91,500 - $170,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
