Title:  Associate, Quality Engineer (Canoga Park, CA)

We are seeking an Associate, Quality Engineering at our Canoga Park, CA location. This rolewill be supporting rocket propulsion materials and process development. After orientation and training, the intern will perform entry-level engineering assignments under direct supervision of other engineers following established practices and policies.

The Quality Engineering position will familiarize the candidate with the manufacturing floor making the connection between design requirements and manufacturing capability.

This role will support senior engineering staff and gain experience and familiarization with Aerojet Rocketdyne quality practices, manufacturing, and programs. Tasks will vary but may include assisting technical staff in providing adequate methods to meet quality requirements, providing root cause and corrective actions, meeting delivery and performance targets, and supporting engineers in the design and development of products and processes to improve production

Requirements:

Bachelor degree program or higher in Industrial Technology, Industrial & Manufacturing Engineering, or General Engineering. 

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Software applications

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is [$63,500-$117,500]. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
