Job Description:

The Space Sector of L3Harris Aerojet Rocketdyne has an opening for a Program Finance Analyst to join our Power Systems and RocketWorks Division.  This analyst will work in a fast-paced environment providing financial analysis and support for the various power and propulsion programs

 

Essential Functions:

  • Support complex programs consisting of cost plus, time-and-material and fixed price work.
  • Completing Sales, Profit and Cash forecasting and analysis.
  • Managing, preparing, monitoring, administering and controlling of budgets on complex programs.
  • Performing program Estimates at Completion (EACs)
  • Communication with internal and external stakeholders to explain and help interpret financial results.
  • EVMS and financial reporting
  • Providing financial analysis for audits and other financial activities.

 

Qualifications:

  • To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Management, Business Administration, Mathematics or related field or have completed their bachelor's degree within the last 12 months, regardless of age. 

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skill set
  • Self-starter with ability to proactively solve complex problems and issues in a timely manner with limited supervision
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office

 

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $59,000 - $110,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.

 

L3Harris announced on January 5th, that AE Industrial Partners (“AE Industrial”) has agreed to acquire a controlling interest in L3Harris’ Space Propulsion and Power Systems business. This position has been identified as one that will transition to the new standalone company upon closing of the transaction. Until that time, L3Harris will continue its hiring activity within this business.
