We have an excellent opportunity for an entry or early career level Associate Project/Product Component Engineer to join our team in Canoga Park, CA (Los Angeles area).
In this you will be involved with the development, fabrication and test of rocket engine combustion devices hardware. This is a challenging and rewarding Engineering role where your contributions can have a significant impact on the development of our nation's space and defense programs.
Working under direct supervision:
25% - Development and fabrication support of rocket engine components using engineering and scientific principles.
25% - Translates engineering and scientific concepts from preliminary ideas through product life cycle.
20% - Interfaces with other members of project or program teams, management and technical staff to define and implement engineering solutions to meet group, organization and company objectives.
10% - Develops trade studies, design concepts, systems integration and component-level test plans.
10% - Supplier integration with external vendors.
10% - Analyzes and verifies product design and performance for adequacy and reliability. Supports investigation and resolution of hardware and process anomalies and issues identified by preventative action/corrective action boards or safety initiative activities.
Minimum Qualifications:
- To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering and have completed their Bachelor’s degree within the last 12 months, regardless of age.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $69,000 - $128,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
