Job Description:
Under general guidance of supervision, perform a variety of inventory, shipping and receiving duties.
Responsibilities:
- Packaging product and other miscellaneous material for shipment.
- Apply shipping documentation, labels and stencil containers as required.
- Unload and receive incoming material, retrieve packing lists and bills of lading, document any damaged or discrepant material prior to signing off on deliveries.
- Print receiving documents, tag and process material appropriately.
- Requires significant personal computer use.
- Analyze, interpret and transact all documents for incoming or outgoing stockroom materials.
- Build and maintain accurate files for incoming and outgoing materials and components.
- Create and update reports.
- Resolve any discrepancies between the computer database and conflicting documentation.
- Pick materials for production jobs and store as required.
- Receive material from inspection acceptance point and store in assigned locations.
- Move materials to support build process.
- Perform stock checks and location audits.
- Perform inventory andcycle counting functions.
- Utilize and operate cranes, forklift and other material handling devices.
- Follow regular daily routines, established practices, or verbal instructions.
- Follow all safety procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
- Forklift certification
