Job Description:
L3Harris Camden is seeking a Support Associate for our Camden, NJ site. The Support Associate will be responsible for effectively executing warehouse procedures that are aligned with company quality, delivery & cost goals.
Qualifications:
- Receive and process material management orders, identify needed parts, handle paperwork, perform needed activities incidental to material pulls, storage of inventory, and put away of material.
- Process warehouse transactions utilizing SAP.
- Verify material to be received or shipped against quantities appearing on the packing list or shipping order.
- Identify and communicate order discrepancies including unusual conditions to supervisor.
- Record data (e.g. unplanned issues including receipts and returns, etc.) using appropriate input tools incidental to receiving and shipping material and inventory management ensuring accounting and inventory accuracy.
- Package outgoing items to prevent damage, pack and unpack material received in accordance with the latest industry standards and most recent military specifications.
- Weigh items to determine shipping costs, affix shipping labels and enclose appropriate shipping documentation.
- Operate warehouse machinery (i.e., forklift, stacker, pallet jacks, etc.) to transporter devices to receive, deliver and move parts and assemblies.
- Deliver and issue items to manufacturing stations and office areas.
- Exercise proper material handling precautions in accordance with rules and regulations.
- Maintain work area and equipment in accordance with 5S Regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Must be a US Citizen
- Able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
- HS Diploma or equivalent with prior experience in a warehouse environment or similar experience
- Must be a be able to lift up-to 45 lbs.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Familiar with MRP (Material Requirement Planning) systems
- Experience with ERP systems i.e. SAP, Costpoint, etc.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary for this role is $24.95 per hour. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
