Job Description:
This position is for an Inventory Management Support role, responsible for aiding the facilities parts/materials warehouse by managing inventory levels and spare parts. The candidate will oversee multiple functions within a warehouse setting.
Attention to detail and the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment are essential for this role. The candidate will provide support to personnel across various shifts and management levels. They will work independently and collaboratively with a team to source parts, order materials, and maintain minimum/maximum inventory levels.
Essential Functions:
- Experience within Logistics, including Warehousing, Receiving & Shipping
- Experience within a production environment, including material handling
- Understanding of inventory management practices
- Unpack material received and assure that it properly stored, and all relevant transactions are done on the MRP system to show the location of the material.
- Interface with other departments as required ensuring control and coordinate for efficient material flow.
- Monitor of receipts, issues and stock movements within the warehouse, external suppliers and other L3Harris segments.
- Ability to climb stairs, ladders, bend, stoop, and lift 32 pounds.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant inventory management experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related inventory management experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
