Job Description:

 

We are seeking a Sr. Associate, Project Engineer at our growing Camden Arkansas location. Responsible for the day-to-day tactical duties for assigned programs. Oversees and coordinates the cost/schedule/technical aspects of ongoing engineering projects within the program guidelines set by the Program Manager and customer. Serves as single point-of-contact between engineering project management and planning, engineering project team, and line management. Perform analytical tasks, oversee special studies, be responsible for developing and maintain reporting tools reflecting performance schedules for capital, program, and overhead projects.  Coordinate between Capital Administration, executive leadership, and Construction Engineering teams to provide comprehensive data reflective of all major construction initiatives across the campus including trendline projection forecasting, current state, and historical data.

 

Essential Functions:

 

  • Intermediate professional with practical knowledge of job area.
  • Works under moderate supervision to set objectives for own job area. Communicates with contacts inside and outside own team to explain and interpret operational processes, practices, and procedures Identifies and addresses changes within own job area.
  • Works to achieve operational targets with some impact on departmental results.
  • Coordinate and lead monthly reviews, development and updates of standard project schedules, analyze expenditures and provide monthly forecasts.
  • Work with various team members to collect and manage project data.
  • Manage the project lifecycle reporting ensuring timelines and budget targets are met.

 

Qualifications:

 

Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related engineering experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related engineering experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related engineering experience.

 

Preferred Additional Skills:

 

  • Experience with implementing analysis strategies, experience with phased projects, and management of data and financial controls.
  • Experience with principles of budget and schedule management for assigned project scope, such as Earned Value Management (EVM).
  • Microsoft Excel Certified (MEC).
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Project.
  • Experience with PowerBI and Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint,Word, Outlook, Teams).
