Job Description:
Plans, schedules, coordinates and/or monitors final approval of products through the complete production cycle to meet production requirements. Works from engineering plans and production specifications to ensure materials are provided according to schedules. Advises management of the status of work in progress, coordinates with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain and interfaces with engineering and program management as well as external customers. Ensures availability of materials and labor to meet production requirements and delivery commitments. Works to resolve labor and material shortages, backlogs and other potential schedule interruptions.
Essential Functions:
- Senior professional with strong knowledge of job area and broad knowledge of project management.
- Manages complex projects or processes with general oversight.
- Communicates within and outside of own function to gain cooperation on operational processes, practices, and procedures.
- Ensures safety and security of assets, proper storage and handling procedures, as well as process improvement of how operations are conducted in energetic storage areas.
- Maintain standardize energetic storage procedures enterprise wide to ensure we are in compliance with all County, State, Federal and DOD and DOT requirements and developing a standardized approach to meet the multi-agency rules and regulations that will be transparent throughout the enterprise.
- Oversight of the preparation for Transportation of Hazardous materials to and from facilities that store energetics (Currently Camden and Orange facilities).
- Management and Reporting.
- Managing AP storage through capacity/consumption analysis.
- IHC creation, recertification and management.
- Energetic and Hazardous Standard Work.
- COI and Homeland security compliance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant Production experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related Production experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related Production experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Subject Matter Expert (EESME) for Storage, COI and Local Hazardous Material.
- Certified Interim Hazard Class (IHC) SME dealing with the DOD and DOT regulatory functions on behalf of the company (90% of IHC’s are required for Camden).
- OSHA compliant training as a "Lift Director" with an "Instructor" certification and "Industrial Vehicle Operations" with "Instructor" endorsement.
- Broad knowledge of project management.
