Job Description:

 

We are seeking skilled and motivated Manufacturing Engineers with a focus on Manufacturing Planning to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate(s) will have a robust background in manufacturing processes and will be responsible for planning and optimizing our manufacturing operations. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring our production processes are efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with industry standards.

 

Essential Functions:

 

  • Develop and maintain detailed manufacturing plans to meet production schedules and goals.
  • Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure manufacturability of new products.
  • Analyze production processes to identify and implement improvements for efficiency, cost reduction, and quality enhancement.
  • Create and maintain work instructions, process documentation, and standard operating procedures.
  • Utilize Lean Manufacturing principles to streamline processes and eliminate waste.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to production teams, ensuring adherence to manufacturing plans.
  • Monitor and analyze production data to optimize resource allocation and workflow.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant engineer experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related engineer experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related engineer experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with a focus on manufacturing planning.

 

Preferred Additional Skills:

 

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Certification in Project Management (PMP) or Manufacturing Engineering (CMfgE).
  • Proven ability to manage and deliver multiple and complex projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and manufacturing planning tools (e.g., ERP systems).
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Communication and interpersonal abilities.
