We are currently seeking a proactive Manufacturing Engineer with a strong desire for problem-solving to join our dynamic team at L3Harris. Essential Functions:

 

  • Lead the charge in identifying and solving complex manufacturing problems to boost efficiency and enhance product quality.
  • Develop and implement targeted strategies to tackle production challenges, reduce waste, and streamline operations.
  • Foster a collaborative environment to solve cross-functional manufacturing issues with innovative engineering solutions.
  • Balance a hands-on approach to problem-solving with the ability to manage and uphold operational standards.
  • Conduct thorough investigations and root cause analyses to inform continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Leverage Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other problem-solving methodologies to drive operational advancements.
  • Interpret and analyze technical data to ensure manufacturing outcomes align with stringent customer and internal standards.
  • Craft detailed reports and actionable insights from complex data to guide decision-making and continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications:

 

Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant engineering experience.  Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related engineering experience.  In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior engineering related experience.

  • CAD software (PTC Creo, NX, Solidworks, etc.)
  • Tool design
  • Machining experience
  • Process automation (PLC controllers)
