Job Description:

The Aerojet Rocketdyne Segment of L3Harris Technologies is currently seeking a Specialist in Logistics  to join our growing team at our Camden, AR site.  As a  Specialist, Logistics, you will play a critical role in optimizing our logistics processes and ensuring efficient operations within the department. You will be responsible for daily review and analysis of metrics, collaborating with team members, leading meetings, and driving process improvements. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a continuous improvement mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Analysis and Monitoring:
• Perform daily review and analysis of metrics spreadsheets and dashboards to monitor logistical performance.
• Interpret data and determine necessary corrective and improvement actions.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Engage and collaborate with colleagues both within and outside the logistics department to ensure cohesive operations.
• Attend and actively participate in meetings, providing briefings to logistics leadership on discussed topics.
• Team Coordination and Management:
• Ensure team members are organized, engaged, and on-task to meet departmental objectives.
• Use project management skills to keep track of tasks and deadlines.
• Process Improvement:
• Apply creative thinking to optimize process efficiencies and develop new processes as required.
• Identify and eliminate process gaps through thorough analysis and the implementation of corrective measures.
• Leadership and Presentation:
• Lead or present in meetings, as needed, effectively communicating insights and recommendations.
• Facilitate discussions and manage group dynamics to achieve meeting objectives.

Qualifications:

• Requires proficient knowledge of job area. May have practical knowledge of project management. Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
• All positions require possession of a valid driver’s license.
