Job Description:
L3Harris is seeking a Continuous Improvement Specialist. This role is available to work out of our office in Camden, Arkansas. The Continuous Improvement Engineer is responsible for identifying, leading, and implementing process improvement initiatives. This position will provide leadership and Training/Instruction solutions for the Camden site. Also responsible for developing and maintaining documentation relating to those specific training programs. Works on problems exercising judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Participates with customers in making and approving training decisions and authorizes their implementation.
Essential Functions:
Training Delivery & Program Management
- Deliver comprehensive technical training services at the Camden, AR facility through classroom instruction and onsite support
- Coordinate and schedule internal and external training sessions, workshops, and seminars while communicating plans and logistics to employees and management
- Research, develop, and maintain current training course materials, documentation, and instructional content in collaboration with subject matter experts
Stakeholder Engagement & Quality Assurance
- Interface with customers and L3Harris personnel to ensure training requirements and instructional materials remain current, accurate, and comprehensive
- Compile and analyze student assessment data and course outcomes to evaluate training program effectiveness
- Recommend and implement modifications to training objectives, task selection, instructional techniques, and evaluation methods based on data-driven insights and customer needs
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date training records and comprehensive documentation
- Generate detailed reports providing clear visibility into learner training history and progress
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for content development and data analysis
- Demonstrated technical acumen with the ability to interpret complex information and transform it into clear, effective instructional materials.
- Proven experience in developing and delivering technical training content across various learning modalities
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong collaborative abilities with demonstrated success working both independently and within cross-functional teams
- Superior organization and time management capabilities
- Self-motivated and resourceful with the ability to manage competing priorities and workload autonomously
- Proven ability to meet critical deadlines with minimal supervision while maintaining quality standards
