This role requires a deep understanding of advanced digital design principles, signal integrity, and high-speed data transmission. As a Senior Electrical Engineer (EE), you will be a crucial member of our engineering team, supporting end-to-end design and development of high-speed digital electronic modules and circuit boards. Your responsibilities will include reviewing and deriving hardware requirements, developing design concepts that meet these requirements, and performing detailed electrical design of circuitry. This may encompass microprocessors, program and data memories, FPGAs, voltage regulators, power reset sequencers, analog circuitry, and interface transceiver circuits.
You will capture designs as schematic diagrams using our CAD tools, participate in design reviews, and collaborate with our ECAD department for layout and routing on printed wiring boards (PWBs). Once the PWB is fabricated and populated with components by our on-campus assembly facility, you will test and verify the electronics assembly, and support firmware and software integration. Our rigorous design review and documentation process includes the creation of requirements specifications, design documents, and comprehensive test plans and procedures.
