The Position:
L3Harris is currently seeking a part-time Security Guard for our Camden, NJ location. This position is a part-time position
and bargaining unit represented position. Part-time Guards work all shifts: Monday – Sunday; and must be available for
weekday evenings and weekends. Hourly rate is $18.65 with no Health or Welfare benefits. Responsibilities will include
but not be limited to:
• Must be able to work under general direction part-time/on-call Security Guards will ensure a safe and secure
working environment for L3Harris employees, tenants, guests, and facility.
• Ensure parking patrons are not interfering with or prohibiting employee departure and arrival to the facility.
• Patrol building perimeter via foot, or vehicle.
• Monitor building entries and exits.
• May be required to perform Entry Control and administrative duties.
• Operate access control and alarm system.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• High School Diploma
• Must be a US Citizen
• Obtain and maintain DoD secret security clearance.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Prior Security Guard experience preferred.
• Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to interact in a positive and diplomatic manner.
• Must possess basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, i.e., Word, Outlook, etc.
• Ability to work independently.
• Must be available for weekday evenings and weekends.
• Must be available to work different shifts Sunday-Saturday.
• Must have a flexible schedule.
• Must properly wear company provided uniform.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary for this role is $18.65/hour.
