Job Description:

L3Harris is seeking a Manufacturing Technician C to join our team. This team member is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and ensuring the proper functioning of tools and equipment used in production from day to day.

Essential Functions:

• Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on tools, carts and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition
• Follow production casting schedules to prevent unexpected breakdowns and repairs that are needed on tooling
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with tools and equipment
• Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems
• Use of basic maintenance hand tools which include but not limited to: Drills, Drivers, Wrenches, Ratchets, Thread Insert Repair, Tape Measure, Understand Measurements
• Maintain an inventory of tools, parts, and supplies needed to maintain and repair tooling for production usage
• Update reports through work order system and spreadsheets created by dept
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance processes and procedures
• Conduct safety inspections and address any potential hazards to direct supervisor or SME 
• Communicate and work closely with production, engineering, and quality control teams to ensure tools and equipment meet production requirements
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Ability to work overtime as needed to support the business

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 6 years prior experience, 2 year post-secondary/AA Degree and 2 years prior experience

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Previous experience in tooling maintenance, repair, or a related field 
• Relevant certifications or training in maintenance, repair, or a related field
