Title:  Government Property Inventory Associate

Job Description:

We are seeking a Sr. Associate, Inventory Management, to join our team in Camden, NJ.  The position is responsible for planning, controlling and managing activities related to inventory control, shipping/receiving, storing and traffic analysis of government property to meet sales and distribution demand. Establishes and modifies operational methods and procedures related to government property. Analyzes government property inventory levels, planned production and sales forecasts, oversees the transfer of stock to reflect cost, age, and demand. Ensures materials are received from the government are processed following established procedures, delivered to inventory, stored in proper locations, create clear path of ownership when product is transferred out to stock, and perform routine audits of government property inventory. Ensures materials are available to meet production schedules and/or products are shipped to support delivery schedules. Interprets laws, rules and regulations regarding receiving, storing, and shipping of government property. 

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for all government property transactions, inventory management, and any shipping requirements.
  • Maintains and modifies existing procedures related to storing government property
  • Performs routine audits of government property to ensure proper storage, condition, and assignment.
  • Works independently on larger, moderately complex projects or assignments.
  • Keeps electronic documentation records.
  • Sends electronic documentation to internal stakeholders and also customers as requested.
  • Effectively communicates status to stakeholders, including organizational leadership and multifunctional teams.
  • Demonstrates operational discipline and ownership.
  • Interfaces effectively with people at all levels and from diverse technical backgrounds.

Qualifications: 

  • Requires proficient knowledge of job area.
  • May have practical knowledge of project management.
  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Strong knowledge and skills within SAP with understanding of the impact of work on other areas of the organization.
  • Previous experience with government property is desired.
  • Experience with lean initiatives or process improvement.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $56,500-105,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
