Job Description:

Responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring company Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) programs and policies to ensure compliance with federal, state and local environmental health and safety regulations. Work to reduce company risk and liability in all aspects of EHS. Assists in a variety of duties to include sampling, observations, training and inspections. Works with stakeholders in the organization during space planning. Assists with root cause analysis when EHS incidents occur and recommends corrective action where environmental, health and safety hazards exist. Responsible for monitoring and driving sustainability initiatives.

Essential Functions:

· Collect hazardous waste from various generation points across the site.

· Properly label and date containers in accordance with RCRA and site-specific requirements.

· Safely package hazardous waste materials for storage or off-site disposal.

· Maintain cleanliness and organization of accumulation areas and waste storage zones.

· Complete and maintain waste tracking logs and documentation.

· Inspect waste containers for leaks, damage, or improper labeling.

· Assist with environmental audits and regulatory inspections as needed.

· Follow all safety protocols, wear appropriate PPE, and report any safety issues.

· Coordinate with other departments and contractors as required.

· Valid driver’s license

· Manuever heavy loads and work in various environmental conditions.

Qualifications:

· Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior EH&S or related experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior EH&S or related experience.
