Job Description:

L3Harris is seeking a highly motivated Business Process and Systems Team Leader to lead a team responsible for the support, optimization, and continuous improvement of business processes and systems within our SAP environment. This role will serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders, IT, and functional teams to ensure SAP solutions effectively support operational objectives, drive process efficiency, and enable scalable business performance.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong combination of people leadership, business process expertise, SAP functional knowledge, and cross-functional collaboration skills. This position will oversee process standardization, system enhancements, issue resolution, and strategic improvement initiatives across SAP-related platforms and integrated applications. 

Essential Functions: 

  • Lead and develop a team responsible for business process support and system administration within SAP environments.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand operational needs and translate them into scalable SAP process and system solutions.
  • Drive continuous improvement of end-to-end business processes, with emphasis on efficiency, standardization, compliance, and user experience.
  • Oversee day-to-day support for SAP modules, related business systems, and integrated applications.
  • Manage prioritization, troubleshooting, and resolution of system/process issues in coordination with IT, SAP functional analysts, developers, and third-party support teams.
  • Lead requirements gathering, process mapping, gap analysis, testing, training, and deployment of SAP enhancements and projects.
  • Ensure business processes and system configurations align with company policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support SAP upgrades, migrations, integrations, and transformation initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, system procedures, training materials, and governance standards.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs and service metrics related to business process effectiveness, system performance, and support responsiveness.
  • Foster strong collaboration across operations, finance, supply chain, manufacturing, procurement, quality, and IT teams as applicable.
  • Serve as a change leader by promoting adoption of new tools, workflows, and best practices across the organization. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field and minimum of 15 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 13 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 19 years of prior related experience.
  • Strong understanding of business process design, process improvement, and system support methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with multiple SAP functional areas such as PS, PTM, PMMO, QM, etc.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to define requirements and implement system enhancements.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with process documentation, training, testing, and change management.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%

Preferred Additional Skills: 

  • Experience leading support in complex, multi-site SAP environments.
  • SAP S/4HANA experience.
  • Experience with integrated enterprise systems, reporting tools, and workflow platforms.
  • Knowledge of IT service management, governance, and support models.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
  • Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or other highly regulated industries.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $167,000-310,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
