Job Description:
The Electrical Engineer (EE) will be part of the key engineering team and responsible for the end-to-end design and development of high-speed digital electronic modules and circuit boards. The Electrical Engineer will review and derive hardware requirements, develop design concepts that meet these requirements, and perform detailed electrical design of circuitry, which may include microprocessors, program and data memories, FPGAs, voltage regulators, power reset sequencers, analog circuitry, and interface transceiver circuits. Designs are captured as schematic diagrams in our CAD tool, reviewed through design reviews, and then handed off to our ECAD department for layout and routing on a printed wiring board (PWB). The fabricated PWB is populated with components by our on-campus assembly facility. The EE will then test and verify the electronics assembly, followed by support for firmware and software integration. Our rigorous design review and documentation process includes requirements specifications, design documents, and test plans and procedures.
