Job Description:
We are seeking an Associate, Facilities Engineering with experience in an industrial manufacturing facility. This entry-level professional role combines engineering support, project management, and technical leadership to optimize facility infrastructure and automation systems while ensuring reliability, efficiency, and compliance.
Essential Functions:
- Provide technical and troubleshooting support for building systems such as:

- Electrical distribution systems
- Automated manufacturing equipment
- Logic controllers and industrial control systems
- UPS systems, generators, and backup power systems
- HVAC electrical components and controls
- Networking/communication systems
- CCTV and networked camera systems
- Mission-critical and specialized equipment
- Production machinery upkeep/repair/maintenance, general welding and millwright activities.
- Install new equipment.
- Conduct preventative maintenance, predictive maintenance, electro-mechanical and mechanical work.
- General shop upkeep, cleaning, and/or organizing Provide coaching & guidance to other technicians.
- Performs preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacement, and modifications as needed or requested by customers.
- Prepares for on-site installation and repairs by examining building layout, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials and coordinating on-site work, as necessary.
- Inspects vehicles by checking vehicle condition and literature supplies.
- Maintains vehicles by keeping records of service manuals, scheduling, and completing repairs and maintenance service.
- Maintains tools and equipment by inspecting for signs of wear.
- Documents work by completing paperwork on each job and maintaining files.
- Represents the company by serving as direct customer contact.
- Determines parts to order for repairs and timeliness of need.
- Keeps current all manufacturers' products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair.
- Provides technical support to customers.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related facilities experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related facilities experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related facilities experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Experience MS Office, as well as CMMS or asset management software.
- Knowledge and understanding of service and installation processes of industrial equipment.
- Maintenance certification or training from a college or trade school is a plus.
- Experience or training in one of the following: Mechanical, HVAC, Boiler, and/or Electrical. State License in any of these fields is a plus.
