What the role will involve

The responsibilities of your role will include the following:

 

  • Support the Security Manager and Site Security Controller in
    • Visitor handling
    • Incident recording and management
    • Physical site security monitoring
    • Enforcing security policies
    • Emergency action planning activities
    • Security administration duties
    • Security awareness and induction training
    • Classified document control
    • Staff Security advice
  • Control and monitor building security including CCTV, issue and return of passes and keys, alarms and access control systems

  • Ability to prioritise, problem solve and manage a varied workload
  • Diligent and adaptable work ethic
  • Self-motivated, positive and proactive approach essential
  • Experience of customer facing security roles demonstrating a customer focused approach
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to integrate into a team environment and liaise professionally with customers and external bodies
  • Proficient IT skills
