What the role will involve
The responsibilities of your role will include the following:
- Tasks are performed in conjunction with program managers and functional managers
- Generate financial reporting packages and provide counsel to program managers on variances
- Baseline development and maintenance, performance management and estimate at complete development and analysis
- Implement, monitor, report and analyse program budget and / or schedule
- Perform earned value management including implementation, maintenance, reporting and analysis
- Organise cost and / or schedule date for monthly program reviews
- Prepare and monitor funding plans labour and subcontract / material / ODC forecast plans
- Complete analyse date for monthly forecast review including orders, sales, operating income and cash
- Prepare ETC / EAC estimates from program staff input
- Participate in presentations and group discussions at internal and external financial / schedule meetings
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with the organisation to maintain a positive and productive work environment
- Perform other duties as required
What you’ll bring
The role requires the following experience and skills:
- Preference for a minimum of 2 years’ prior related experience
- Qualified or Part Qualified Accountant with recognised accountancy qualification
- Excellent interpersonal skills to achieve effective partnerships and relationships in a multi-discipline environment
- Displays a high level of respect, diplomacy and tact when dealing with stakeholders
- Resilient, highly flexible and a naturally inquisitive individual
- Advanced user of MS Office Suite including Excel modelling
- Experience with Earned Value Management – preferred but not essential
- Experience with PowerBI - preferred but not essential
