L3Harris in Bristol/Burgess Hill/Barrow provides warship automation systems through control and simulation solutions that are in service on Albion Class Landing Platform Docks and Queen Elizabeth Class Aircraft Carriers. More systems are being developed and delivered for Type 26 and Type 31 Frigates.

What the role will involve
The responsibilities of your role will include the following:
- Defining and maintaining Change Management documentation (Plans, Processes, Procedures).
- Analysis of proposed product design changes (from internal and external sources) to determine the effect on the overall system and program.
- Establish and maintain baselines and baseline controls.
- Release of Project Deliverables.
- Plan and implement methods to improve response.
- Acts as liaison between management and other functional groups to resolve issues regarding Change/configuration analysis documentation.
- Provide guidance, coaching and training to other employees.
- Actively contribute to improvements using the company’s e3 methodology, encouraging and facilitating change to realise efficiencies (Lean, Green Belt, etc.)
- Assesses Engineering project changes and co-ordinate the impact assessment on the project, engineering and project baselines etc.
What you’ll bring
The role requires the following experience and skills:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Change & Configuration role, preferably within Defense or Aviation.
- Broad knowledge of project management.
- Understanding of, and experience with various engineering lifecycles.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications, Sharepoint, Jira.
- Excellent communication skills, motivation and tasking.
