Our mission-critical release systems equipment is on most major airborne fighter platforms worldwide, including the F-35, along with other aircraft like the Gripen and Typhoon. Brighton designs, manufactures and tests a large portion of its release systems portfolio. This facility offers 48,500 square feet of manufacturing space for the development of high-performance, multi-station solutions used to launch air-to-air and air-to-ground munitions from bay, wing or fuselage stations.

What the role will involve
Reporting to the Production Control Manager, the Production Controller would be responsible for the day to day management of customer accounts through the process from enquiry to dispatch. This involves use of both MRP and CRP, liaising with internal departments to ensure accurate and on time delivery.
The responsibilities of your role will include the following:
- Using MRP and CRP to ensure parts are processed through machine shop and assembly in a timely manner.
- Participating in shortage meetings and contract review meetings to give accurate information to internal and external customers.
- Providing information to programme managers and external customers as required.
- Raising works orders and passing these through both manufacturing and stores.
- Stock control and administration of works orders for several accounts.
- Annual participation in Stock Take.
What you’ll bring
The role requires the following experience and skills:
- Minimum GSCE Equivalent Level C in Maths and English.
- Works well in a team environment and can communicate effectively to internal and external customers.
- Capable of managing a number of tasks simultaneously without compromising accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work methodically and to follow tasks to conclusion.
- Good communication skills and excellent computer skills in MS Office and Project
