Job Description:

  • The Senior Program Manager is responsible for leading, coordinating, and consolidating a portfolio of strategic programs and initiatives across the organization. This role ensures effective planning, execution, and reporting of program activities to the Sector/BU leadership team. The Program Manager acts as the primary point of contact for cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, operational efficiency, and timely delivery of results.
  • She/he will be responsible to coordinate other potential intercompany teams (i.e. UK and Canada) to provide a consolidated reporting at Sector Level. She/he will be responsible to collect and consolidate all the program data and KPIs, performing critical and proactive analysis.

 

Essential Functions/Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Coordination & Execution
    • Manage and oversee program plans, schedules, budgets, and deliverables across multiple initiatives over the managed portfolio.
    • Facilitate alignment between project teams, stakeholders, and leadership.
  • Consolidation & Governance
    • Consolidate program data, risks, KPIs, and progress updates across the portfolio.
    • Ensure compliance with organizational and sector-specific standards.
  • Reporting & Stakeholder Management
    • Prepare executive-level reports, dashboards, and presentations for Sector/BU leadership.
    • Act as the communication interface between operational teams and Sector leadership.
  • Risk & Issue Management
    • Identify, assess, and mitigate portfolio-wide risks and issues.
    • Coordinate corrective actions and escalation processes when necessary.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Management, or related field
  • Minimum 7–10 years of experience in program or portfolio management in complex, cross-functional environments.
  • Proven experience consolidating information across multiple programs and presenting to executive stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in financials and good practice with Earned Value Management system and program planning
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in program/project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Power BI, ERP).
  • Certification such as PMP, PgMP, or equivalent is a plus.

  • Fluency in English and in Italian
