Job Description:  

L3Harris Technologies, as a key subcontractor on the MWT Operations Support II contract, is seeking a Counter‑Space Intelligence Analyst to support Mission Delta 4. This role includes providing instruction and curriculum development for MD4IC and MWTIT programs, as well as delivering direct intelligence support for operational activities. The position relies on ISR and counter‑space expertise to enhance crew readiness, Combat Training scenarios, and intelligence products for Mission Delta 4 leadership.

This is an on‑site role at Buckley Space Force Base in Aurora, CO, with periodic support at Beale AFB, CA. Monthly Combat Training may require schedule flexibility. Travel to additional Mission Delta 4 locations, both CONUS and OCONUS, is expected.

Essential Functions: 

Instruction and Course Support

  • Coordinate and schedule MD4IC, MWTIT, and Instructor/Evaluator courses in alignment with Mission Delta 4 operational needs and the SPAFORGEN cycle.
  • Serve as primary instructor for the MD4IC course (approximately six weeks, conducted quarterly with class sizes of 1-6 students).
  • Assist government personnel in instructing the MWTIT certification course and Instructor/Evaluator course as required.
  • Conduct course feedback sessions with students upon completion of each MD4IC, MWTIT, and Instructor/Evaluator course; provide results to Mission Delta 4 Det 1 leadership.
  • Develop and instruct a one-hour intelligence support orientation briefing for Qualification Training (QT) programs across Mission Delta 4 units.

Curriculum and Product Development

  • Develop and maintain all Mission Delta 4 intelligence course materials, including POIs, objectives, lesson plans, tests, and scenarios.
  • Review and update all course materials before each iteration to ensure alignment with the current MTL.
  • Support development and publication of training program documentation, including STRs, standardization guidance, MTLs, CTLs, TEPS, POIs, TSRA, STPs, weapon system volumes, Ready Spacecrew tasking, and RTRB support materials.

Intelligence Support

  • Develop threat academics to support Mission Delta 4 crew training and readiness.
  • Support CRV events through intelligence research, scenario development, and RFI submission.
  • Produce intelligence products for CRVs reflecting current threats to MD4 weapon systems, including SBIRS Block 20, OBAC, JTAGS, UEWR, and S2E2.
  • Provide White Cell intelligence support during CRVs and deliver after‑action reports to Det 1 leadership.
  • Assist with the weekly intelligence brief for Mission Delta 4 commanders.
  • Ensure all products comply with DoD, DAF, USSF, USSPACECOM, USSTRATCOM, and IC guidance.

Qualifications: 

  • Active Top Secret security clearance, with SCI eligibility
  • Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years relevant experience, or a master’s with 2+ years, or 8+ years experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum 3 years of DoD/USSF curriculum development and instruction experience.

  • Minimum 3 years of counter‑space intelligence experience, including adversary threat analysis.
  • Experience with multiple Mission Delta 4 weapon systems (SBIRS Block 20, OBAC, JTAGS, UEWR, S2E2, or equivalent).

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Knowledge of USSF training regulations, documentation standards, and the SPAFORGEN cycle.
  • Experience with Instructional System Design (ISD).
  • Experience producing and briefing threat intelligence at crew, unit, and command levels.
  • Direct experience instructing the MD4IC or MWTIT course or serving in a Mission Delta 4 Instructor/Evaluator role.
  • Familiarity with the Space Warfighter Intelligence Foundational Training (SWIFT) course material and Mission Delta 7 coordination processes.
  • Experience developing and executing Crew Readiness Verification (CRV) events in a White Cell or Red Cell capacity.
  • Proficiency with ISR tools, intelligence databases, and products associated with SBIRS and space domain awareness missions.
  • Prior USSF or USAF intelligence background with operational experience at a Space Delta or equivalent organization.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $73,000 - $135,000. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, Cleveland Ohio, and Vermont is $63,500 - $117,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
