Job Description:
The Equipment Sustainment Lead plays a critical role in ensuring the readiness and availability of Program Capital equipment (e.g., company owned/program funded) and L3Harris owned equipment. Candidates shall be responsible for coordination with Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) Leads to ensure the receipt, inspection, maintenance, storage and accountability of equipment is kept in accordance with released processes/procedures. Candidates will need a strong background in the logistical lifecycle of Government property and a keen knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.245-1, Government Property. Additionally, the Candidates will be expected to host weekly meetings to update IPT leads and Program leadership on the status of assigned equipment. This update shall include the status of equipment currently undergoing maintenance, the assignment and resolution of product non-conformance to equipment undergoing repairs, and the overall readiness level of all assigned equipment. The Candidates will be expected to update and maintain the status of equipment in all company or Customer-mandated databases, so a moderate-to-high level of proficiency with database management and data entry is required. In this role, you will be a part of the Agile Development Group which is a division that specializes in developing disruptive, next-generation technologies for advanced Unmanned Air Systems (UAS / UAV), advanced radar systems, next-generation weapon systems, and other RF sensor technologies using small company agility and big company experience.
Essential Functions:
- Ensure readiness of Program Capital and Company Capital equipment.
- Schedule and oversee routine maintenance and repairs to ensure equipment/government property is maintained in accordance with FAR 52.245-1, Government Property.
- Ensure all equipment is properly stored and secured in accordance with local safety and security guidelines and requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of all equipment internal movements, maintenance and repair actions, shipments, and final disposition.
- Conduct inventories/audits of assigned equipment as directed by customers and Program leadership.
- Assist Field Support Representatives (FSR) Teams in the preparation and pack-out of required test and support equipment for field support.
- Assist Inventory Management in the movement and relocation of equipment to support internal and external operations and the overall accountability of equipment.
- Up to 25% travel may be required.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Ability to work safely in a warehouse environment.
- Storage Depot experience a plus.
- Excellent people skills, with experience in working with and coordinating operations across multiple IPTs.
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, & presentation).
- Warehousing skills include receiving, storing, and operating warehouse equipment.
- Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in all aspects of inventory handling, including labeling and documentation.
