Job Description:
The Configuration Management Senior Associate is an intermediate professional with responsibility for the configuration control of product end items. This role ensures that end item configuration management activity complies with both applicable internal processes and customer requirements. The role works independently under moderate supervision and relies on job area knowledge proficiency to plan and accomplish moderately complex projects or assignments. The ability to independently analyze and resolve problems is required to perform the role.
Essential Functions:
1. Administer the Product Lifecyle Management (PLM) engineering change process including workflow approvals, data checking and the archiving of artifacts.
2. Organize and support Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings.
3. Conduct and document internal Configuration Management Audits.
4. Manage as-built product configuration data using internal Configuration Management System (CMS) application.
5. Investigate, analyze and resolve process/systemic issues leveraging internal/corporate resources as required.
6. Provide guidance and assistance to other employees on configuration management processes and systems.
7. Manage Customer information submittals including creation of submission documents and administration of records.
8. Create and maintain configuration management functional documentation.
9. Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
1. Master's Degree with 0-2 years of prior related experience.
2. Ability to obtain and maintain an active US DoD security clearance.
Preferred Additional Skills:
1. Configuration management change analyst experience.
2. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
3. Working knowledge of MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
4. Familiarity with business processes in a design and manufacturing environment
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $65,500 - $121,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
