Job Description:

L3 Harris Technologies is seeking a Program Financial Analyst to join the Release Systems Division.  This position will be responsible for managing key programs including forecasting and analysis of OSPI (Orders, Sales, Profit, Investment)

 

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for managing, preparing, administering, and directing the control of budgets for large and/or complex programs.  Generate budgets, forecast funding profiles to ensure adequate funding available and within negotiated positions.
  • Monitor and control cost for both internal and external customers.
  • Perform Estimate at Completions (EAC’s), assess profit impacts and provide variance explanations
  • Responsible for P&L forecasting of Orders, Sales, Profit and Investments including identifying Risks & Opportunities (R&O) as well as preparing various ad hoc financial analyses and presenting as required to Sr. Management.
  • Interface with various levels of management, Program Office and functional departments to support programs.
  • Ability to Obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.

 

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Experience with DOD / Government Contracts
  • Knowledge of Excel

 

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Amityville, NY is $67,000 - $124,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
