Job Description:
Join our team as an MRO Program Coordinator and become the vital link between our customers and our repair operations. In this role, you will manage maintenance, repair, and overhaul programs from unit induction through delivery while directly interfacing with customers, contracts, supply chain, and production teams. This role serves as your introduction to program management, giving you end-to-end ownership of repair programs—from securing funding and ordering materials to providing status updates and ensuring on-time delivery. Make a direct impact on mission readiness by ensuring critical units are expertly repaired and returned to support the U.S. warfighter in the field.
Essential Functions:
- Manage end-to-end MRO programs, including unit induction, shop floor monitoring, material procurement, and delivery coordination to ensure on-time completion of repair activities
- Serve as primary point of contact for customers, providing regular line of balance updates, repair status reports, and proactive communication throughout the repair lifecycle
- Coordinate cross-functionally with production cells, supply chain, quality, and program management teams to resolve issues and support delivery timelines
- Secure program funding from customers and track financial performance, including monitoring profit and loss for assigned repair programs
- Navigate and utilize multiple computer systems and software platforms, including customer portals, to access technical data, track repair status, and manage program documentation
- Negotiate and support contract activities for new and existing customer repair agreements
- Proactively drive program momentum by monitoring shop floor operations to identify and resolve bottlenecks, material shortages, or quality issues that may impact delivery commitments
- Manage multiple concurrent repair programs simultaneously while maintaining a high sense of urgency and attention to detail across all activities
- Travel as required to customer sites and company facilities (estimated 10-15% travel)
- Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Understanding of contract types, structures, and deliverable requirements
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to ensure accuracy and meet deadlines
- Ability to effectively communicate technical and business information to diverse audiences, including engineers, program managers, customers, and executive leadership
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
- Ability to extract, cleanse, and normalize data from multiple sources for accurate reporting and analysis
- Artificial Intelligence Proficiency
